Happy Birthday Tony Warrener

To say we are overwhelmed with the generosity of time and energy given to the Courage Initiative by many individuals and organisations is truly an understatement. There is however one individual who needs to be singled out for his incredible contribution to the Courage Initiative.

Tony Warrener our gratitude is overflowing.

Your years as a CEO and your abilities in strategic planning, management and business analysis have been essential to achieving the amazing results in both receiving and delivering of food parcels to those in need.

Since the first week of April COURAGE has been able to feed approximately 27 000 persons within the Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg communities of Hout Bay. To date we have delivered 8200 food parcels and 12 000 vegetable packs into approximately 6800 homes. We believe that this would not have been possible without your extraordinary leadership and management of the COURAGE volunteers, partners, sponsors, and community teams. Our sincerest thanks go out to you Tony! CEO with a heart of gold, nerves of steel and pure courage!

“Tony is not a man of many words but the way he lives his life is packed with integrity. He maintains remarkably high standards in everything he sets his mind to on a daily basis. His loyalty and generosity are endless. He protects and honours his relationships with his close friends and his family, including his extended “adoptative family”. The word gossip is not even in Tony’s vocabulary. He is an avid reader and has great cooking skills although he could work on his dancing ability. He is always quietly strong and supportive in the background never wanting the limelight….HUMBLE.” says Bridget Jenkinson his partner and righthand aid in the Courage warehouse.

Currently, COURAGE only has sufficient funding to reach the end of the month. Help Tony and keep donating so that he can continue his brilliant work in getting the community fed.
